Tarkanian Classic Basketball Tournament

The Tarkanian Classic basketball tournament returns to Orleans Arena, bringing some of the nation’s most talented high school and junior college basketball players to the court on December 18-22, 2025.
Named after legendary UNLV basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian, the tournament will feature top girls and boys high school basketball teams from across the country. Since its inception, the Tarkanian Classic has become one of the most popular prep tournaments in the nation, featuring high school players who have gone on to enjoy major success in both college basketball and professional basketball leagues. Teams from coast to coast will be represented in the tournament, and will be separated into four divisions for tournament play.

Venue Bag Policy: No bags or backpacks will be permitted into the venue except for one small personal bag per person no larger than 12" x 12" x 6" or one small clutch no larger than 5" x 9" x 2".
