The June 13th Las Vegas Celebration starring Pierre Jovan and The Motown Orchestra is a spectacular concert event honoring 161 years of the National Independence of Juneteenth and 67 years of Motown music — the unforgettable soundtrack of our lives.
International recording artist Pierre Jovan is a dynamic lead vocalist known for his powerful stage presence, smooth vocals, and magnetic charisma. As the front man of the award-winning vocal quartet Spectrum, Jovan has headlined over 200 Royal Caribbean cruises, performed with more than 60 symphony orchestras across the United States and Canada, and starred in multiple coast-to-coast touring productions throughout Australia. Groomed and directed by world-renowned choreographer Papote Varet, Pierre’s distinguished career includes performances at the Nevada Governor’s Inaugural Ball and an extraordinary 84-week residency at Main Street Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. His credits also include starring roles in A Salute to Miss America at Chicago’s historic Blackstone Hotel, appearances at the Mrs. United States Pageant, the American Heart Association Gala, and a featured performance for Oscar Night America.
This electrifying 29-piece production show features full string, horn, and rhythm sections, along with singers and dancers led by Pierre Jovan. Together, they recreate the smooth harmonies, high-energy choreography, and legendary hits of the ’70s and ’80s. Audiences will be transported to a musical universe where Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Supremes, Kool & The Gang, Earth, Wind & Fire, James Brown, and Tina Turner share one unforgettable stage.
